Let's practice together.
Yoga is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Hi!
I’m Franny! Asana practice illuminated my immense potential that traditional schooling methods were blind to. Yoga is a gateway for me to access my true self. As a teacher since 2018, I seek to empower others with the tools of yoga. My teaching is a play of paradox: when leading a class I embody fun and silliness, as well as depth and focus. While my guidance is friendly and inviting, my sequencing is challenging and creative. I cue students into intricate shapes that they may not have known they were capable of, while encouraging them to breathe into sensation and connect to the process. Students come to me and learn to be both full and open; deeply feeling as well as receptive; at once wise and knowing and surrendered to flow. My hope is for students to leave practice brimming with warmth and a renewed awareness of their own capacity to meet themselves where they are and mindfully pushed limits.
“To take a class with Franny is to leave your mat feeling simultaneously juiced and juicy. Her love for and dedication to the practice of yoga are palpable and infectious. Franny shows her students that with commitment to practice and an open hearted attitude, taking on challenges can become an exercise in deepening awareness, deepening pleasure, & deepening connection to self. What was once viewed as frustrating and difficult can now become enlivening. Focused and flowing, powerful and poetic, Franny’s classes are a beautiful opportunity to step into her world and explore the unexpected interplay of strength and bliss.”
I continue to develop my practice, studying with and taking inspiration from my teachers — Masaaki Okamura, Marina Traub, and Fez Aswat.
